Digital Printing Market to reach $187.7 billion by 2018

Digital printing is projected to grow to 20.6% in 2018 from 9.8% in 2008!

A recent study from Smithers Pira titled The Future of Offset vs Digital Printing to 2018 – highlights the direct competition between digital and offset printing for print service suppliers.

In 2008 all digital printing accounted for about 18.5% of the offset market but by 2018 it will be worth nearly 50% across the world and higher in more mature print regions. The volume of all offset prints will fall by 10.2% across the world between 2008 and 2018, while digital print volume is forecasted to grow by 68.1%.
