Reducing the Carbon FootPRINT
Every year Kopytek supports the Ameren Missouri wind power through their Pure Power Program. This year we supported 12,000 kWh of renewable energy, reduced our carbon footprint by 19,430 pounds of carbon dioxide which is equivalent to planting 260 trees.
Together, a total of 4,594 participants (both households and businesses) supported 54,929,000 kWh of renewable electricity – enough to power 4,162 average homes with Missouri wind energy for a year!
It’s important to us as a local St. Louis business that we do all we can to help our environment and our community by reducing our carbon footprint. Not only are we excited to share this news with you, but we are also excited to be part of a program that cares so much about saving the environment!
