Reducing Our Carbon FootPRINT
There are so many ways you can help reduce your carbon footprint, and here at Kopytek we are all about doing everything we can to do just that! Last year we were part of Ameren Missouri’s Pure Power program. What exactly does this mean? It means we contributed to more independently generated Missouri wind energy to the electric grid in 2015.
In 2015 we supported 12,000 kWh of renewable energy. If you’re not sure what that means, and don’t worry we didn’t know at first either, let us break it down for you. This means we lowered our carbon footprint from electricity use by 21,845 pounds of carbon dioxide when compared to not being in the program. It’s also equivalent to planting 254 trees!
